Millions of North Americans have reported that they suffer from rosacea. It is most common in people over 30, especially those with fair skin.

Signs of rosacea include redness of the face, and a tendency to flush. More advanced staged include red bumps, and small broken blood vessels. Acute rosacea may involve trouble with the eyes, as well as a bumpy, red nose like you might see on an alcoholic.

Unfortunately, one has yet reported a cure for rosacea; however, many people are able to effectively manage their rosacea with careful skin care and natural treatments. First and foremost, rosacea is usually closely connected to stress. So, meditating, doing yoga, getting a massage, and other stress-coping mechanisms might help heal the skin.

Other natural, helpful ideas include soothing products, such as those that contain green tea cream. Though more studies are needed, green tea cream did appear to help in a small trial. The same is true for licorice cream, niacinamide cream, azelaic acid cream and a cream containing chrysanthemum.

Apple cider vinegar may also help rosacea sufferers by balancing the acid in the stomach. It may help stimulate the digestive enzymes, which rosacea sufferers could lack. Diet is often considered a culprit, and some people are able to identify particular food triggers that cause flares.

B vitamins may also help those who suffer from rosacea. Rosacea may be related to Demodex folliculorum mites, which can be reduced with the help of B vitamins.

If you are having trouble with rosacea, it is best to experiment with different ideas, one at a time. That way, you can see what works.
